About Adzuna
Adzuna is a job search engine that lists every job, everywhere. From our launch in the UK in 2011, we now have tens of millions of visitors a month and are busy conquering the world from our office in West London, helping millions of people find better, more fulfilling jobs.
We are a commercially minded team that moves fast, takes ownership, and loves what we do. As our global footprint expands through international scale and strategic acquisitions (including Seiza, Getwork, and Joblift), we are looking for an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to oversee and streamline our multi-entity finance operations.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an ambitious Senior Finance Manager ready to own accounting and financial control across our global business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations within a lean finance team.
In this role, you will run multi-entity group consolidation, international financial reporting, month end reporting, statutory compliance, and tax across our UK, US, French, German and Australian entities. You will ensure robust financial controls, coordinate the annual audit, and partner with local regional specialists to manage our international payroll and tax compliance.
Whether you are a high-performing Senior Finance Manager ready for a broader mandate, or a Financial Controller from a smaller tech company looking for greater international scale, this is an ideal opportunity for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a best-in-class global finance infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Group Accounting, Consolidation & Controls
- Multi-Entity Consolidation: Own the month-end and year-end close process, producing accurate consolidated group management accounts across UK, US, and European entities.
- Financial Controls: Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, maintain the group finance calendar, and continuously refine financial controls as the business scales.
- Audit Leadership: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, managing the annual audit process and statutory accounts preparation.
- CFO Support: Partner with the CFO by providing accurate consolidated figures and schedules to support executive decision-making.
Tax, Payroll & Compliance
- Tax compliance: Manage UK VAT reviews and declarations, French TVA, German sales tax. Coordinate US tax filings. Execute global transfer pricing agreements.
- Tax Schemes: Annual compliance reporting including UK/French R&D tax claims, PSAs, and P11Ds.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll preparation, review and payment alongside our external local payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely global payroll execution. Administer employee benefits, including pension feed uploads and HSA contributions.
- Stock Option Compliance: Support the CFO with data for EMI and US 409A valuations, maintaining cap table records, and submitting annual HMRC option filings.
- Corporate Governance: Handle company secretarial filings, share issuances and global insurance renewals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
