Join us as a Senior Finance Partner for Investment Products & Solutions and Financial Planning, Private Banking & Wealth Management
Play a pivotal role as a trusted strategic adviser to the executive leads of our Investment Products & Solutions (IP&S) and Financial Planning (FP) business within Private Banking & Wealth Management. You’ll help develop, shape and influence the strategic direction of the business and provide high-quality strategic financial insight, challenge and guidance to support decision-making. Influence sustainable growth and client outcomes by providing oversight of business performance and helping shape the future of our client proposition.
What you'll do
As our Senior Finance Partner for IP&S and FP, you’ll operate as a strategic adviser to executive leaders and work with them to achieve their strategic business goals, acting as a thought partner to senior stakeholders and the wider business while maintaining regular exposure to Group Finance and wider NatWest Group leadership.

You'll combine financial leadership, commercial awareness and strategic thinking to help drive business performance and growth.
You’ll also be:
- Shaping financial performance across income generation, customer value, product proposition, profitability and cost management
- Leading business partnering activities across the IP&S and FP portfolio, including planning, forecasting and stress-testing scenarios
- Driving all business finance requirements, including month-end processes, strategic planning, functional reporting, and the proactive escalation of risks and issues
- Providing critical review and constructive challenge to ensure optimal use of resources across investment decisions and business cases
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business and Finance function, helping ensure decisions are supported by robust analysis, clear financial planning and meaningful performance insight
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience operating as a senior finance leader within private banking or wealth management, with specific experience in investment solutions and assets under management and administration, alongside the relevant professional qualifications. You’ll bring a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and shaping strategy within complex, regulated environments.

To succeed in this role, you’ll also bring strong personal credibility, sound judgement and resilience. You’ll be comfortable operating in high-stakes situations where commercial, client and risk considerations must be balanced effectively.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Experience leading, developing and motivating a high-performing team of finance professionals
- Strong finance functional knowledge, commercial acumen and technical accounting expertise
- A deep understanding of investment products and market dynamics
- Proven experience in P&L leadership, investment decision-making and business performance management
