An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to accelerate their career in a broad, project-focused finance role.

About the Role

Working closely with senior finance leadership, this position offers exposure across finance transformation, acquisitions, integration, financial planning and analysis, business partnering, reporting improvement, and strategic projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of high-profile initiatives, work with senior stakeholders across the business, and play a key role in driving performance and change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead finance and business improvement projects, including the integration of businesses, systems, processes, and data.
  • Support the development of financial planning and analysis capabilities through budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with operational and business leaders to provide financial insight, KPI analysis, and decision support.
  • Drive improvements in management reporting, financial controls, month-end processes, and audit readiness.
  • Deliver systems, automation, and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Support acquisition activity through due diligence, financial analysis, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Manage project workstreams and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Undertake strategic analysis and ad hoc projects for senior finance leadership.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified accountant with approximately 2-3 post-qualified experience. (Desired but not a dealbreaker)

  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ambitious individual that's keen to progress.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience of finance systems, reporting tools, and data analysis would be advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to acquisitions, integration projects, multi-site organisations, or private equity-backed businesses would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
