The Role
Finatal is partnering with one of the UK's most exciting PE-backed high-growth hospitality brands in the search for a Senior Financial Accountant. Having experienced exceptional expansion in recent years, the business has built a strong presence across multiple locations and is now focused on strengthening its finance function to support the next stage of growth. Operating in a fast-paced, consumer-facing environment, the business offers the opportunity to join a talented leadership team and play a key role in professionalising finance operations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparation of statutory accounts and management of the external audit
- Maintaining robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity
- Producing accurate financial reporting for senior leadership and investors
- Managing technical accounting matters and compliance requirements
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes
- Driving process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
- Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business to enhance reporting and decision-making
- Supporting the continued scaling of systems, controls, and reporting capabilities
- Assisting with tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance obligations

Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Technically strong with a solid grounding in financial accounting and reporting
- Experienced within hospitality, retail, leisure, consumer, or multi-site businesses
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded and capable of translating financial information into actionable insights
- Keen to take ownership and contribute beyond the traditional remit of financial accounting
