Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - £65-70k + 10% bonus - London (Hybrid)
We're partnering with a leading international infrastructure business to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant into its European Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of statutory reporting and external audits across multiple European jurisdictions. The role offers broad international exposure, regular interaction with senior stakeholders, and the chance to play a key role within a growing, highly acquisitive business operating in a fast-evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts across several European entities, including Germany and the Netherlands
- Manage relationships with outsourced accounting providers and ensure compliance with local accounting standards
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
- Assist with corporation tax and indirect tax compliance matters
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams throughout Europe
- Drive process improvements, controls enhancement, and reporting efficiencies
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Contribute to ad hoc projects including acquisitions, financing activity, and business expansion initiatives

About You

- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Financial reporting and statutory accounts experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Previous external audit management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
- Experience working across European entities is advantageous
- Knowledge of German or Dutch GAAP would be beneficial
- German or Dutch language skills are a plus but not essential
