Senior Financial Accountant | Liverpool | £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus
An excellent opportunity to join a successful, Liverpool headquartered business in a high profile role with planned progression over the next 12-18 months. Our client is a market leading brand with an excellent reputation. You will be working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership group in this visible role.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be a key figure in improving financial reporting standards across this large Liverpool based business which will also allow you to gain broader, commercial responsibilities.

Main Duties
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation reports across multiple legal entities.
- Produce Financial Accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Support the year-end audit process and act as a key contact for external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP reporting requirements.
- Review and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
- Prepare complex balance sheet reconciliations and technical accounting papers.
- Support the preparation of annual reports and financial disclosures.
- Assist with acquisition accounting and the integration of new entities into the group structure.
- Drive improvements to financial reporting processes, controls, and systems.
- Partner with finance teams across the business to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
