We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-growth fintech specialising in mortgage lending and buy-to-let finance.

Responsibilities

The role will focus on the following priority areas:

  • Management accounts – ownership and delivery of accurate, timely monthly management accounts.
  • Year-end audit and financial reporting – preparation of year-end financial statements, strong balance sheet reconciliations and supporting statutory reporting.
  • Statutory accounts – preparation and delivery of statutory accounts for relevant group entities.
  • Consolidated reporting – supporting the preparation of consolidated group accounts and financial reporting.
  • VAT compliance – managing the first VAT return for a group entity, including seeking appropriate technical advice on calculations and treatment.
  • FCA reporting – supporting the delivery of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Financial due diligence – supporting financial due diligence activities associated with a fundraise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
