π Join Forge Holiday Group as a Senior Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC)
We're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in driving financial excellence across Forge Holiday Group. If you're a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise, a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business, we'd love to hear from you.

β° 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm
π€ Reporting to our Divisional Financial Controller
π₯ Part of our Finance Team
What you'll be doing:
- π Own and enhance key financial accounting processes across the business
- π Deliver accurate financial reporting across divisions, regions and departments
- βοΈ Lead process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and efficiency
- π Support month-end and year-end activities, including UK consolidation
- π Prepare statutory accounts in line with FRS and IFRS requirements
- π Produce technical accounting papers and board-level reporting
- β Ensure robust controls, compliance and process documentation are maintained
- π€ Partner with teams across the business to drive improvements and add value
- π Support compliance reporting and audit requirements
- π Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and financial performance
- π₯ Coach, support and develop colleagues where required

What you'll bring:
- β ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience
- β Strong technical accounting and statutory accounts experience
- β Experience leading projects that improve controls, processes or efficiency
- β Strong month-end, year-end and consolidation experience
- β Proven ability to challenge and improve existing processes
- β Experience preparing technical accounting papers for senior stakeholders and auditors
- β Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- β Experience managing or developing team members
- β Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
- β A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach
