Your new company

An established global business is looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. Operating across multiple international entities, the business offers the scale, complexity, and exposure that will appeal to ambitious finance professionals looking to broaden their experience within a collaborative and well-supported environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders, international operations, and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Your new role

You'll take ownership of the financial accounting and reporting activities for a number of international entities, leading month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory accounting requirements. A key part of the role will involve managing internal and external audits, partnering with stakeholders across finance, tax, and operations, and driving process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to regional and global finance projects, making this an ideal move for someone who enjoys working in a large, complex, and evolving environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
