Our client is a rapidly growing banking business, providing a range of banking and financial solutions and are investing heavily in growth, technology, and operational excellence.
Description
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Oversee and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Maintain strong financial controls and address any discrepancies.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process as needed.

Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CPA, or CIMA), or nearing qualification.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or another regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial control.
- Exposure to statutory accounts and external audit processes.
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Experience with finance systems and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
