The Opportunity

My client are a fast-growing, international hospitality business with an expanding portfolio of sites across multiple locations. As they continue to scale, they are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team.

Based in Central London, this is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who wants to move beyond a traditional financial accounting role and gain broad exposure across a dynamic, multi-site international business.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls and processes, and supporting the finance function as the Group continues its ambitious growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller / Head of Finance, you will take ownership of key areas of the month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet control and statutory accounting across multiple entities.

The role will suit someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where there is plenty of opportunity to take ownership and make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the month-end close process across multiple entities and sites.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial and management reporting.
  • Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls are maintained.
  • Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments.
  • Analyse site and Group performance, investigating variances and unusual movements.

  • Assist with Group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support VAT, corporation tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls and reporting.
  • Work closely with operational teams to improve financial understanding and data quality.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activity.
  • Assist with new site openings, international expansion and other finance projects.
  • Provide technical accounting support across the wider finance team.
  • Work with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional advisers as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
