SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - MANUFACTURING

REMOTE (UK) - OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO WEST SUSSEX - PERMANENT - OWNERSHIP OF GERMAN LOCAL GAAP AND TAX FOR A US-HEADQUARTERED GROUP

£80,000 - £90,000

Are you a senior technical accountant who wants to own a country rather than assist on one? Do you thrive where German statutory reporting, tax and audit all sit with you?

We Do Group are supporting a US-headquartered engineering and manufacturing group, hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to take full accountability for local GAAP and tax reporting across its German entities.

This is the senior technical seat for Germany. Everything statutory runs through you: the HGB accounts, the tax filings, the audit, and the outsourced providers who do a chunk of the groundwork. You'll be the finance representative for the German sites when someone needs to be there in person, and the person Group leans on when a change in German rules lands on the reporting.

There's also a broader piece here. The European finance function is being tightened up, and you'll have a real say in how the German end of it works.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
