Are you an experienced Financial Adviser looking for a genuine long-term opportunity with an established, independent wealth management business where you can take on increasingly complex work and play an important role in its succession strategy?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established independent IFA and wealth management group with a strong team of advisers and approaching £1bn in FUM.
The business is continuing to grow organically and through the acquisition of smaller IFA businesses and client banks, with ambitious plans to significantly increase its assets under management over the coming years.
As part of this continued growth, and with established senior advisers beginning to transition away from their day-to-day advisory responsibilities, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Financial Adviser who can take on an established client bank, handle increasingly complex cases and develop into a key member of the senior advisory team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not an opportunity where you will be expected to start from scratch or bring your own client bank. The business has an established pool of clients that can be allocated to successful advisers, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality advice and developing long-term client relationships.
The Role
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with an established client bank.
- Deliver high-quality independent financial advice across pensions, retirement planning, investments, and broader wealth management.
- Take responsibility for increasingly complex financial planning cases, including IHT planning, trusts, and bonds.
- Use your technical expertise to manage complex client requirements independently, with the support of experienced Paraplanning and client-service teams.
- Gradually take responsibility for established client relationships currently managed by senior advisers as part of the firm’s wider succession planning.
- Work closely with the wider advisory team as the business continues to grow.
- Identify and develop new-business opportunities, with a progressive bonus structure designed to reward commercial performance.
- Build and strengthen your own client relationships as your career develops within the business.
- Meet clients face-to-face and operate with the autonomy of a predominantly home-based adviser model.
- Play a long-term role in the continued growth of the business.
