About the Role
We're delighted to be partnering with an innovative market-leading international organisation to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst working on a hybrid basis at their offices in Harlow, Essex.
This is a broad, highly visible opportunity for an ambitious finance professional with reporting and analytical experience gained within a large international organisation or the audit and assurance team of a major accountancy firm.
You'll enjoy getting behind the numbers and translating complex information into clear commercial insight. At the heart of the planning and reporting cycle, you'll work closely with finance colleagues and senior leaders across a complex, technology-led business. The role offers genuine scope to shape reporting, improve processes and take on broader responsibility as your knowledge of the organisation grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly forecasting and reporting, alongside the annual budget and longer-range planning process.
- Produce accurate performance packs, insightful commentary and analysis for senior and group stakeholders.
- Prepare pre-close information and month-end analysis to support an accurate and timely close.
- Build financial models and complete ad hoc analysis to explain trends, test assumptions and support decisions.
- Translate operational activity into financial implications, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
- Drive improvements to reporting processes, deputise for the FP&A Manager when required and support junior colleagues.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- A professional accountancy qualification, or active progress towards qualification, supported by relevant commercial finance experience.
- Experience within FP&A, audit & assurance, commercial finance, management reporting or a closely related role.
- Strong Excel, financial modelling and analytical skills, with the curiosity to understand what is driving performance.
- The confidence to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively.
- Experience within a large international, regulated or technically complex organisation would be particularly valuable.
- Exposure to integrated finance, planning, enterprise resource planning or business intelligence systems would be advantageous.
