🟡 Senior Financial Strategy Analyst

🟡 3 Month FTC
🟡 Holborn, London
🟡 £80,000–£90,000 salary equivalent, dependent on experience

A fast-growing international technology business is seeking a Senior Financial Strategy Analyst to join its Finance team on a 3-month fixed term contract.

You'll join a high-performing Financial Strategy function during a busy budgeting and reporting period, working closely with senior Finance leadership. This is a hands-on senior IC role for someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously and take ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly reporting cycle, including variance analysis, commentary and senior stakeholder reporting.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, including financial modelling, consolidating inputs and stress-testing assumptions.
  • Extract, combine and reconcile data across finance and commercial systems.
  • Improve financial processes, templates and reporting methodologies.
  • Prepare Board presentations, KPI packs and management reporting.
  • Work across the wider Finance team to resolve issues and manage workload during key reporting periods.
  • Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
