Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in financial accounting and pricing to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, pricing strategies for Services (leasing business), a thorough knowledge of pricing hierarchy management, and advanced excel skills. This position will play a key role in working with Senior Leadership and Sales to form pricing strategies, maintaining Pricing Models, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, maintaining the latest pricing within SAP and Quoting tool (excel based), and managing pricing/quoting enquiries.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy and Financial Modeling
- Develop and maintain comprehensive pricing models for Services (Leasing) business, ensuring alignment with company financial goals and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to understand pricing needs and build tailored models to optimize profitability.
- Perform profitability analysis and recommend pricing adjustments based on cost structures, competitive benchmarks, and market conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans related to service pricing.
SAP Pricing Hierarchy Maintenance
- Manage and maintain the Pricing Hierarchy within SAP, ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing data across all systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the IT and SAP teams to enhance pricing functionality and troubleshoot issues related to pricing structures.
- Ensure proper alignment of SAP pricing tables with financial models, offering visibility into cost structures and margins.
Price Over-ride Reporting
- Produce regular reports on price override trends using SAP data.
- Analyze and interpret key drivers behind price overrides, such as customer-specific pricing agreements, market conditions, or sales adjustments.
- Work with the data team to identify patterns and provide insights on price override impacts, including profitability and margin erosion.
- Provide recommendations for minimizing unnecessary price overrides or improving pricing consistency.
Collaboration On Pricing-Related Reporting
- Work with the data team to develop and share relevant pricing-related reports that provide valuable insights to senior management and business stakeholders.
- Examples include reports on price/invoice accuracy, credit & re-bill frequency, and other key metrics that help optimize pricing and improve profitability.
- Assist in the automation of pricing-related reporting to streamline the data analysis process and improve decision-making.

Pricing Mailbox Monitoring & Management
- Monitor and manage the pricing mailbox, logging tickets and tracking actions related to pricing requests (e.g., new pricing, clarification of existing pricing, SAP/quoting tool updates).
- Respond to pricing requests where possible or triage requests to the relevant member of the pricing group for further action.
- Following up on pending actions to ensure timely resolution and escalate where necessary.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the status of tickets to senior business leaders.
- Communicate updates, resolutions, and clarifications to requestors in a clear and timely manner to ensure alignment across the business.
Sales Quoting Tool Maintenance (Offline – Excel-based)
- Ensure all offline pricing materials, including the Product Selector (quoting tool), Customer pricing spreadsheets (reference materials), and Quoting log, are accurate, up-to-date, and functioning correctly.
- Regularly review and validate data inputs within the Sales Quoting Tool to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update the quoting log to track pricing requests, approvals, and changes, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Develop and implement new functionality or features for the quoting tool as requested, such as automating quote log capture to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in the quoting tool, focusing on increasing the accuracy of quotes, reducing manual effort, and improving overall tool usability.
Revenue Budgeting And Forecasting
- Lead the process of revenue annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and financial targets.
- Develop and maintain detailed revenue forecasts based on historical data, market trends, pricing adjustments, and sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather insights and refine revenue projections based on changing market conditions, customer demand, and business strategies.
- Monitor and report on actual revenue performance against forecasted targets, identifying variances and providing recommendations for adjustments.
- Provide analysis and commentary on revenue performance, highlighting key drivers of growth or decline and supporting data-driven decision-making for business leaders.

- Act as a subject matter expert for pricing-related inquiries across the organization, supporting internal stakeholders with data and insights.
- Support the sales team with pricing-related tools, guidelines, and insights to improve deal structuring and revenue generation.
- Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure that pricing models reflect the latest financial assumptions and accurately align with accounting standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pricing and financial modeling processes.
- Ensure pricing and financial practices comply with industry standards and company policies.
- Document pricing work: Maintain thorough documentation of pricing models, methodologies, and changes to ensure clarity, consistency, and the ability to audit pricing decisions. Ensure all pricing-related work is well-documented and stored for easy reference and knowledge sharing across the team.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy, or financial modeling, preferably in Services/Leasing business.
- Proven track record in financial modeling, cost analysis, and developing pricing strategies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, advanced formulas, and financial modeling techniques.
- Strong experience managing and maintaining pricing hierarchies within ERP system.
- Experience with maintaining and optimizing offline tools (e.g., Excel-based pricing tools and quoting logs).
