The Role
Produce accurate, timely GAAP accounts, board packs, budgets and KPI reporting for portfolio companies
- Review the finance function's output, from GL postings to revenue recognition to variance commentary
- Analyse budget vs actuals and benchmark each business against the wider portfolio to find where performance can improve
- Support M&A on financial and operational integration, and deliver the process improvements set out in each deal case
- Build ad hoc reports and dashboards that give CEOs a clear, live view of their business
- Write up SOPs so best practice scales across the group
- Act as a trusted finance partner, offering advice wherever the business needs it
