About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst – Pricing is an integral part of Latham’s Financial Analysis team. This role will be responsible for providing financial, analytical, and business support to drive success towards the firm’s goals and objectives, while providing pricing expertise and advisory service to attorneys and other business functions through quantitative (i.e. profitability analysis) and qualitative (i.e. negotiation tactics) support. This role will be located in our London or Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Leading pricing response for the pursuit of new opportunities by developing competitive, innovative, and profitable fee proposals that align with the firm’s strategic and financial goals
- Conducting pricing-focused practice group, industry, and market analysis to share with the leadership team in order to drive optimal decision-making
- Developing an internal pricing database and external go-to-market templates for key product areas that allow for more efficient and effective fee responses on engagement opportunities
- Assisting the Rate Approval Committee by leveraging the ServiceNow database to develop ongoing reports that inform the committee of the outcome, performance, and trends based on historical approval decisions
- Preparing analysis and presentation materials for annual pricing strategy meetings with senior management and leadership teams

We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Possess knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including project management software, MS Office, and other programmes necessary to complete thorough analyses and reports
- Display advanced financial modelling and project management skills
- Demonstrate an advanced ability to perceive and analyse problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them
- Have experience training or informally mentoring peers or junior team members
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in economics, finance, accounting, business administration, management, or a related field
- A master’s degree or equivalent in a related field, preferably
- Experience related to financial analysis and/or project management, preferably in a professional services environment
- Experience developing financial analysis/modelling and project tracking/reporting, preferably
