The Senior Financial Control Manager will bring integrity, control and compliance to the UK&I financial accounts to allow the business to operate with agility and freedom, which creates the framework for the business teams to deliver the plans to become a recognised brand in wellbeing drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing our cash position with clear focus on Accounts Receivable and having clean and up-to-date ledger with no bad debt and no unreconciled / unidentified queried
- Understanding our Working Capital drivers and partnering the team to ensure we have the right behaviours on these.
- Lead out Month End and Year End close on time in full, giving clear communications to the Performance Team with Financial Rigour.
- Understanding and communication of the ad hoc P&L transactions that are seen in our P&L which impact our business performance.
- Ownership and management of healthy balance sheet.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the UK&I BCP documentation & ensuring any regular BCP testing is completed.
- Responsible for ensuring all team members are trained correctly in Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition Law and ABF legal processes.
- Ensuring that the UK has simple but effective controls that ensure the we are audit compliant but allows the commercial and strategic teams to not be tied up in process.
- Management of Accounts Receivable Team (2-3) people, ensuring they are engaged and focused on development goals.
- Connecting with Cross Functional People Managers as part of a sub leadership team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualified Financial Accountant with minimum 3-year PQE.
- Accounting and Finance Expertise.
- Knowledge of reporting and Accounting systems (SAP ideal)
- Continuously seeks ways to ‘do things better’; comfortable with change.
- Experience of working with non-Finance colleagues.
- An enthusiasm for control, compliance and risk management
- An understanding of all areas of the controlling, knowing the key risks within a business and how to manage them effectively.
- The ability to make technical financial and legal topics simple for non-finance audiences.
- A mindset for accuracy and passion for on time in full.
- You seek out and give feedback to enable the development of yourself and your contribution.
