We are exclusively partnered with a large, international organisation seeking to appoint a Senior Financial Controller to lead a key part of its UK finance function. Based in the East Midlands, the role offers hybrid working.
This is a senior position combining technical accounting and financial control with leadership, working capital management and finance transformation. You will take ownership of financial control across the business while partnering closely with senior operational and finance stakeholders to strengthen controls, improve processes and drive financial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead accounting, financial control and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information alongside statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Own external audit requirements and maintain a robust financial control environment, including balance sheet integrity and group accounting policies.
- Drive working capital and cash performance, partnering with commercial and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and develop the finance team while driving greater efficiency, standardisation and continuous improvement across financial processes.

Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience in financial control, accounting and finance leadership.
- Strong technical accounting background with experience across statutory reporting, external audit and internal controls.
- Proven experience operating within a large, complex organisation with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Confident people leader with a track record of improving processes, strengthening controls and successfully delivering change.
