Senior Financial Controller (12-Month FTC)
Cambridgeshire | Hybrid Working
Salary up to £80,000
We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation in Cambridgeshire seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the finance function and provide strategic support to senior stakeholders during an exciting period for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the month-end and year-end reporting process
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance
- Producing insightful management information and analysis
- Driving finance process and system improvements
- Business partnering with operational and senior leadership teams
- Managing and developing members of the finance team
- Sales and margin analysis
- Supporting wider strategic and commercial initiatives

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven Financial Controller or leadership level experience
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Experience improving finance processes and controls
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
