Senior Financial Controller (12-Month FTC)

Cambridgeshire | Hybrid Working
Salary up to £80,000

We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation in Cambridgeshire seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the finance function and provide strategic support to senior stakeholders during an exciting period for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the month-end and year-end reporting process
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance
  • Producing insightful management information and analysis
  • Driving finance process and system improvements
  • Business partnering with operational and senior leadership teams
  • Managing and developing members of the finance team
  • Sales and margin analysis
  • Supporting wider strategic and commercial initiatives

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven Financial Controller or leadership level experience
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
  • Experience improving finance processes and controls
  • Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
