Senior Financial Manager

Salary: £65,000 per annum
Location: Andover
Hours: 37.5 hours

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead our operational finance team and help strengthen the systems, processes and controls that support our growing business.

Pure is the UK’s best-known direct cremation provider. We’ve challenged traditional funeral conventions to offer people a simpler, more affordable choice – and we’re continuing to grow and evolve.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. You’ll oversee the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions across several companies, while developing your team and improving how we work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and supporting our operational finance team, with four direct and six indirect reports.
  • Overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring customers are invoiced accurately and suppliers are paid correctly and on time.
  • Managing cashflow reporting and providing clear visibility of working capital requirements.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls, including appropriate authorisation processes and segregation of duties.
  • Leading daily, weekly and monthly operational finance activities.
  • Managing the preparation, review, submission and payment of relevant employment, corporation and VAT returns.
  • Developing our ERP and wider finance systems to support an expanding business.
  • Reviewing processes and identifying opportunities to simplify, improve and automate them.
  • Acting as the Finance lead for wider system and process changes.
  • Providing clear financial analysis and practical support in response to commercial queries.
  • Building a capable, accountable and collaborative team through regular feedback, coaching and development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
