Senior FP&A / Financial Modelling

This is a high-impact role within FP&A, working closely with Commercial Finance and senior stakeholders during a period of significant business transformation. The role will take ownership of the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical financial models, reporting, and strategic analysis. A key focus will be long-range financial planning, so we’re looking for someone with strong experience personally building and owning complex, integrated financial models rather than purely short-term forecasting and reporting.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the development and ongoing improvement of complex Excel-based financial models, including sales forecasting and integrated three-statement long-range planning models.
  • Own and maintain the long-range plan model, updating it for actuals and latest forecasts as the business evolves.
  • Build models covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring the relationships between all three are accurately reflected.
  • Work closely with Finance and Commercial teams to capture accurate financial inputs and create effective reporting outputs.
  • Develop Excel-based reports, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and include appropriate controls and checks.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and adapt models for business cases, scenario planning, stress testing, and financial resilience analysis.
  • Use data visualisation and trend analysis to clearly communicate the story behind financial performance.
  • Prepare high-quality reporting packs, analysis, and messaging for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Work within a regulated environment, ensuring financial models and outputs meet both business and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce supporting documentation and training materials to enable wider Finance teams to take ownership of models and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
