Financial Planner – Edinburgh

Salary up to £95,000 + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join a highly regarded wealth management business in Edinburgh. This is an opportunity to join an established and successful firm offering a genuinely client-focused approach to financial planning, excellent professional support and a highly competitive remuneration package.

The Opportunity

You will provide holistic financial planning advice to a portfolio of clients, developing long-term relationships and delivering high-quality advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning, and protection.

Importantly, this is not a role where you will be expected to spend your time cold calling or building a client bank from scratch. You will have the infrastructure and support around you to allow you to focus on what you do best – advising clients and developing relationships. You'll work alongside experienced Paraplanners and Administrators, giving you the technical and administrative support required to provide an exceptional service to your clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
