Senior Financial Planner

Maidstone Based IFA Firm - Medium Sized

Salary: negotiable £80k - £120k plus bonuses
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays and benefits on top

About the Role

My client is a Chartered independent wealth planning firm with offices across Kent. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent, and London. In their current setup, they manage the affairs of approximately 2000 clients (over £650m AUM) with assets ranging from £150k to £20m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modeling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes.

Company Overview

  • Longstanding Relations: They have longstanding relationships with accountancy and solicitor practices who refer business to them. The advisers are not targeted as they have a strong belief in ensuring clients receive the best service rather than stacking up AUM.
  • Community Engagement: The business is very engaged in local community events and advocates for many charitable causes.
  • Customer Satisfaction: They place exceptional customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities, resulting in a very high rate of retention with some relations stretching back over 20 years.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
