SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNER

NEGOTIABLE SALARY | NEWCASTLE | HYBRID

A strong opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to join one of the UK's most respected and long-established wealth management businesses in their Newcastle office.

Our client has a significant presence across the UK with a large team of Investment Managers serving HNW private clients with portfolios typically ranging from £1m to £30m. The business is actively growing its financial planning capability and is looking for an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to work alongside the Investment Management team in Newcastle, delivering holistic financial planning advice and adding real value to both existing and new clients of the business.

You will be working with warm, established client relationships, collaborating closely with Investment Managers to identify financial planning opportunities with existing clients of the business, attending new client pitches alongside the investment team, and delivering advice that genuinely makes a difference to HNW clients and their families. Full administration and paraplanning support is provided so your focus remains where it matters most.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
