Financial Planner | Somerset / Devon

We are proud to be working exclusively with one of the UK's most established and respected wealth management businesses to appoint an experienced Financial Planner to their team in Bristol.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity. You will be joining a long-established, nationally recognised business with an outstanding reputation and a highly regarded advice process. The role comes with an existing client bank to take over and manage, giving you an immediate and meaningful portfolio to work with from day one.

The clients you will be looking after are predominantly HNW private individuals with average investment portfolios in the region of £700k-£1m but some that will have a lot larger portfolios than this. Your primary focus will be on delivering an outstanding ongoing service and building strong, lasting relationships with those clients. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity and encouragement to grow your portfolio through referrals, professional introducer relationships and your own network, though this is very much a relationship management role first and foremost.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
