Job Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a hugely successful, international consumer brand. Based at a highly desirable Central London location - this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a high calibre passionate team; within a fast paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
We are seeking a top tier ACA or CA who is practice trained and also possesses a number of years relevant experience gained in industry as a group finance / financial reporting manager (minimum 5 years PQE upwards).
Responsibilities
- The role will report directly into senior leadership and has responsibility for the direct management of a team of 4 (operating at both part and fully qualified level).
- Overseeing all statutory accounts preparation; as well as management of the relationship with the auditors.
- Oversee all financial controls, governance, and compliance.
- Provision of relevant technical accounting advice across the group.
- Tax, VAT, as well as transfer pricing work.
- Drive ongoing finance change and transformation projects - for example a key project around a systems implementation project.
- Play a key role with respect of ad hoc operational and broader commercial project work.

Requirements
- We are seeking top performers - those with a proven track record of success within their career to date.
- A strong technical accounting background is required but also strong business partnering abilities and ability to view the wider business picture.
- Exceptional communication is also required - the ability to push back and influence at a senior level, across an international group.
- A background in retail, ecommerce, consumer or related would be useful but not essential.
