Job Description
Job Purpose
ICE Data Services, Pricing and Reference Data provides an extensive range of financial market data services and analytics to thousands of customers worldwide, including banks, brokerage firms, mutual funds companies, ETF sponsors, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and asset management firms. In addition, our offerings are also used by financial information providers, information media companies, and VARs such as software providers, processors, custodians, and other outsourcing organizations.
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide Evaluations for allocated market securities on a daily basis. The Analyst will take full responsibility for the evaluation process in designated markets which includes monitoring news and market activity, interacting with market participants, analysis of market information, and modeling of securities. In this role, you are expected to demonstrate specialist knowledge of assigned markets and strong knowledge of the techniques and models used in the evaluation process. You will also work on projects to expand evaluation coverage and product offering.

Responsibilities
- Daily evaluation of fixed income securities using proprietary models
- Credit spread and quote research - interaction with market participants, analysis of primary and secondary markets
- Maintenance of contacts with market participants
- Interpretation of market information and application of this in the evaluation process
- Daily client query handling
- Contribute to Market Communications (internal to support the sales team and external publication to clients and media)
- Expansion of evaluation coverage through client portfolio additions and market initiatives, working to tight deadlines where necessary
- Implementation and enhancement of quality assurance and control measures within designated field
- Responsibility for researching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned markets
- Undertaking of ad-hoc research projects as directed by management and senior analysts

Knowledge and Experience
- A good degree in or including Economics, Finance, or a Business-related subject
- 3+ years prior experience in an analytical role within Fixed Income
- Ability to facilitate relationships with market contacts
- Numerate, analytical, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under stringent time constraints and prioritize workload
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated but with ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income Markets and other Capital Market Fundamentals
- Strong understanding of various differing Bond Structures
- Experience with Fixed Income Modelling
- European language an advantage (optional)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and VBA
- Basic knowledge in SQL, Python, and AI application etc.
