Senior Fleet Engineering Compliance Monitoring Engineer

Application Deadline: 1 September 2026

Department: Compliance

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Brize Norton

Compensation: £64,582 - £71,952 / year

Description

We are looking for a senior compliance and airworthiness specialist to lead oversight across engineering and maintenance activity. You will hold ARC Signatory responsibility and make independent decisions on aircraft airworthiness. Your work will ensure regulatory compliance, support safe operations, and protect the organisation’s licence to operate.

Why AirTanker?

AirTanker is a vital part of the UK’s defence capability, delivering air-to-air refuelling and air transport services to the RAF and MOD. We operate at the intersection of military precision and commercial innovation. As Senior Fleet Engineering Compliance Monitoring Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the continued airworthiness and regulatory compliance of the fleet. Acting as an ARC Signatory and CAA-approved post holder, you will provide independent technical oversight, lead compliance monitoring and audit activities, and ensure aircraft, maintenance records, and engineering processes meet UK CAA and organisational requirements. Working closely with Engineering, CAMO, Quality Assurance, operational teams, and regulators, you will support safe fleet operations, regulatory approvals, and continuous improvement across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
