Join our Fleet Strategy and Supply Chain team
Manage operational relationships with one of our largest fleet management partners, overseeing approximately 20,000 vehicles across 8+ countries. As part of a new team focusing on supplier coordination, you'll serve as a critical bridge between Amazon and our supplier partners, using data-driven insights to optimize fleet operations, resolve complex challenges, and shape the future of our global commercial vehicle supply chain while managing over $1 billion in annual fleet spend.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate operations with fleet management partners by leading regular strategic meetings with partner leadership and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and addressing conflicting directives across teams
- Monitor and improve fleet management partner performance by tracking key metrics, measuring performance against contractual standards, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain visibility across the supply chain by tracking vehicle movement through all stages of the fleet lifecycle, ensuring accurate data flow, and identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Develop and evolve fleet management strategies by collaborating on contract developments, identifying opportunities to expand into new regions and vehicle types, and shaping the future direction of the partnership
- Optimize internal processes and workflows by regularly assessing how teams interact with fleet management partners, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
A day in the life
In this role, you'll focus on maintaining seamless coordination between Amazon and our fleet management partner across multiple countries and vehicle types. Your day might include reviewing fleet metrics from the past 24 hours to identify emerging issues, conducting deep-dive analyses into operational data to uncover root causes of performance gaps, and following up with internal and external partners to implement corrective action plans. You'll also prepare for monthly business reviews by compiling performance data, collaborate with leadership on strategic proposals for fleet expansion into new regions, and work to streamline processes that keep our supply chain running smoothly. Throughout it all, you'll balance the needs of both Amazon and our supplier partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
