Senior Flutter Developer
Remote | 3-Month Unpaid Opportunity | Part-Time / Flexible
LYNA is a women’s health and nutrition app helping women better understand the connection between their menstrual cycle, nutrition, weight, and hormonal health.
We’re looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join us remotely for an initial 3-month unpaid engagement and help take LYNA’s mobile experience to the next level.
This is an opportunity to work directly on a real product with an existing user base and meaningful impact — not a hypothetical side project.
About LYNA
LYNA provides personalized, cycle-aware nutrition guidance, including:
- Menstrual cycle tracking and phase-based insights
- Meal and nutrition tracking
- Food/meal photo scanning
- Macro and micronutrient tracking
- Personalized calorie and weight goals
- Nutrition guidance for areas such as PCOS, fertility and perimenopause
- Evidence-informed health and nutrition recommendations
LYNA already has 15,000+ users, and we're continuing to improve and scale the product.
The Role
As our Senior Flutter Developer, you’ll take ownership of the mobile application and work closely with the product/founding team to build, improve and maintain LYNA.
You’ll have significant influence over the technical direction of the Flutter app, architecture, user experience and development practices.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain LYNA’s iOS and Android applications using Flutter/Dart
- Build polished, responsive and intuitive mobile experiences
- Translate Figma/product designs into high-quality production interfaces
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Work with authentication, user profiles, subscriptions and app data
- Implement health, nutrition and cycle-tracking features
- Work with image/meal-scanning functionality and AI-powered experiences
- Improve application performance, reliability and scalability
- Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues
- Refactor and improve existing code where necessary
- Help establish and maintain a clean, scalable Flutter architecture
- Write maintainable, well-tested and production-ready code
- Participate in technical/product discussions and contribute to product decisions
- Help prepare the application for continued growth and future releases

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
