We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations within a prestigious and complex mixed-use heritage estate in central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on FM professional to take ownership of day-to-day operations, statutory compliance, fire safety, contractor management, and service improvement across a diverse property portfolio that includes office accommodation, event spaces, residential areas, hospitality facilities, specialist storage areas, and public-facing environments.

As an interim appointment, the role will focus on strengthening compliance governance, enhancing FM contract management, and delivering key improvement initiatives while ensuring the estate remains safe, secure, well-maintained, and operationally effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of facilities management services across the estate, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
  • Take ownership of statutory compliance, risk management, health and safety, and fire safety arrangements.
  • Develop and improve FM processes, including helpdesk operations, KPIs, SLAs, reporting frameworks, and information management systems.
  • Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead emergency planning, business continuity, and resilience planning activities.
  • Review, procure, and manage FM contracts, ensuring effective supplier performance and value for money.
  • Monitor energy usage and support sustainability and environmental objectives.
  • Coordinate maintenance and improvement works within a busy operational environment, balancing stakeholder needs while minimising disruption.
  • Line manage Facilities Management professionals and ensure effective resourcing and operational cover.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
