We offer remote working for employees who are not within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
Role: Permanent Full-Time. 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced FMCG Senior Buyer to join our team and take ownership of a dynamic Supplier portfolio within a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure we deliver competitive, high quality products that meet customer demand and drive profitability.

We are looking for an ambitious Senior FMCG Toiletries Buyer / Trader to join our growing team at Intamarque Limited.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on finding new products, discovering new suppliers and turning opportunities into profitable deals.
You will play a key role in growing our toiletries category by identifying products that are in demand, sourcing them at the right price and building strong relationships with suppliers across the UK and international markets.
The Role
As our Senior Buyer / Trader, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing new and exciting FMCG toiletries products from existing and new suppliers.
- Proactively researching the market to identify new brands, products, trends and commercial opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining a strong network of UK and international suppliers.
- Negotiating competitive purchase prices, payment terms, MOQs and trading agreements.
- Identifying clearance, excess, discontinued and promotional stock opportunities.
- Assessing new products based on cost, market demand, sell-through potential and profitability.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to secure the best deals.
- Working closely with the sales team to understand customer demand and identify products with strong sales potential.
- Monitoring competitor activity, market pricing and product trends.
- Managing the buying process from initial enquiry and negotiation through to purchase order and delivery.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve margin, stock availability and sales performance.
- Supporting the development and growth of the toiletries category.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is commercially hungry, proactive and confident.
You will ideally have:
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in FMCG buying, trading or wholesale, ideally within toiletries, health & beauty or personal care.
- A strong understanding of FMCG products, brands and market pricing.
- Experience sourcing products and developing new supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure commercially attractive deals.
- A natural ability to spot a good product and a good opportunity.
- Excellent commercial awareness with a focus on margin and profitability.
- Confidence communicating and negotiating with suppliers.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach — you're someone who will pick up the phone, make the enquiry and chase the deal.
- The ability to work at pace and make commercially sound decisions.
- The ability to travel to International Trade shows and Suppliers.
