About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will take a leading role in helping clients solve complex business problems, build and implement practical AI-enabled solutions, and drive the broader transformation required to make those solutions successful.
You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, lead project teams and workstreams, and move engagements from problem definition through analysis, solution design, testing, implementation and adoption.
This is not a role where the work stops at strategy or recommendations. We are looking for someone who can combine strong consulting capability, a builder mindset, business judgement and client leadership.
You will also play an active role in growing ADAPTOVATE by building trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, supporting proposals and pitches, and helping shape new work.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with senior client leaders to understand strategic priorities, diagnose complex business problems and identify where AI can create meaningful value
- Structure ambiguous problems, oversee analysis and translate insights into clear actions and solution priorities
- Lead the design, build and testing of AI-enabled solutions, prototypes, workflows and process improvements with client teams
- Translate business priorities into practical AI use cases, solution concepts, implementation roadmaps and measurable value opportunities
- Guide teams through rapid testing and iteration, using client and user feedback to improve solutions
- Help move successful solutions from prototype through implementation, adoption and scaling
- Work across business and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical, commercially relevant and fit within the client environment
- Lead consulting engagements or major workstreams, with accountability for scope, milestones, risks, stakeholder expectations, quality and outcomes
- Facilitate executive discussions, workshops and working sessions to solve problems, align stakeholders and move decisions forward
- Translate technical ideas, options and trade-offs into clear business language for senior leaders
- Measure whether solutions are creating meaningful business value and help clients adjust where needed
- Help clients embed new AI-enabled ways of working, build internal capability and drive broader business transformation
- Coach and develop Consultants and Associates, providing clear direction, feedback and support throughout engagements
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a credible advisor across the organisation
- Identify opportunities to expand ADAPTOVATE's impact within existing client accounts
- Contribute to business development through opportunity shaping, proposals, pitches, client presentations and commercial discussions
- Help develop ADAPTOVATE's AI capabilities, offerings, methods and thought leadership

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines strong consulting leadership, a builder mindset, commercial judgement and the ability to connect AI with real business outcomes.
You will typically have 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant client-facing delivery experience across areas such as:
- Technology or digital consulting
- AI, data or product-related roles with strong business and client exposure
- Business or technology transformation
- Management consulting with strong exposure to AI, technology or solution delivery
- Operating model, process improvement or operational transformation
You should also demonstrate:
- Strong strategic, analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- The ability to bring clarity and direction to complex and ambiguous business problems
- A builder mindset with a willingness to develop, test and improve solutions rather than stopping at recommendations
- Practical experience using AI or technology to solve real business problems
- The ability to connect AI and emerging technologies to measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading consulting engagements or major workstreams from problem definition through implementation and adoption
- Strong senior stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Confidence facilitating workshops, executive discussions and decision-making sessions
- The ability to work effectively across both business and technical stakeholders
- The ability to translate technical ideas and trade-offs into clear business language
- Strong project leadership, including managing scope, priorities, risks, dependencies and team delivery
- Experience coaching and developing junior consultants and client teams
- Strong commercial awareness and an interest in account growth and business development
- Experience identifying opportunities within existing clients and helping turn them into new work
- Experience contributing to proposals, pitches, statements of work or commercial discussions
- Ownership, adaptability and comfort working in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
- Willingness to travel as required
