Our client is a highly successful FTSE 250 business with a significant international presence. They are looking to strengthen their Group FP&A capability with the appointment of a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a team of c.6/7.
Description
This Senior FP&A Analyst role will sit at the heart of the Group Finance function, providing insight and analysis to support decision-making across the business. Working closely with Group, Divisional and Country Finance teams, you will help drive greater performance, discipline, and efficiency across FP&A, translating financial and operational data into clear commercial insight.
- You will take ownership of key monthly, weekly, budget and forecast reporting activities, collaborating with stakeholders to review assumptions, investigate variances and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- The role will also involve supporting Board reporting, sales and trading analysis, cash flow reporting and the wider planning and forecasting cycles, while acting as a key link between Divisional Finance, Group and Treasury.

Skills
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong FP&A or commercial finance experience, ideally gained within a complex, multinational, or multi-site organisation. You will need strong analytical and Excel skills, alongside the confidence to challenge assumptions, build senior stakeholder relationships and turn detailed analysis into clear, commercially focused recommendations. It is imperative that candidates are able to start work within a month or less.
The business is looking for someone who is driven, comfortable with ambiguity and constantly looking for ways to improve and embed best practice. This is not intended to be a short-term appointment; there is genuine scope for development and progression within a growing business.
