We’re looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the Commercial Finance team in a newly created permanent role. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders within the Finance team and across the wider business to help drive the financial performance of the Group.
This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the forecast model for the Group. You will work with large and complex data sets translating operational information into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. The role will report to the Head of Commercial Finance but will have a high degree of exposure to both the Director of Commercial Finance and CFO.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the rolling forecast model for the Group
- Working closely with the divisional Finance Business Partners to ensure forecast assumptions are accurate and up-to-date, providing challenge as required
- Producing weekly and monthly variance analysis against forecast with clear explanations on the key drivers of change
- Building and stress-testing scenarios across revenue and cost plans to support decision- making
- Tracking and interpreting key commercial KPIs by division / brand and translating trends into financial impacts
- Collaborating with the HR team to quantify cost impacts across the employee lifecycle
- Driving process improvement across planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles by utilising automation and AI

Skills and experience we'd like you to have
We’re looking for someone with strong financial modelling skills and the right mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment. You are analytical, commercially-minded and have a strong attention to detail but can also zoom out and see the big picture. Above all, you genuinely enjoy working with numbers and are energised by turning them into a clear story.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in an FP&A or Commercial Finance role and/or Advisory experience (e.g. Transaction Services / Management Consulting)
- Exceptional excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc), SQL skills are a plus
- Confident communicator, able to clearly summarise information for senior stakeholders
- Proactive and forward thinking with a passion for driving improvement
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
