Our client is a global premium technology brand, with revenues of c£300m and manufacturing and R&D sites in the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia. With over 1,000 employees across nine countries, the Group has a diverse customer base spanning broadcasters, film and television production companies, photographers, content creators, professional musicians and corporate customers. Following a drive for change and transformation in the business, they are now looking to strengthen the commercial finance capability, which includes the FP&A function.

Description

We are seeking a high-calibre individual to join a highly capable team as a Senior FP&A Analyst. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, this is a high-profile role providing significant exposure to the Group CFO, CEO, Board and senior stakeholders across the international business.

You will play a key role in providing the analysis and insight required to understand group performance, support decision-making and improve profitability. You will take responsibility for the Group’s forecasting and planning processes, preparing regular forecasts and providing the CFO, CEO and Board with a clear view of current and future financial performance. This will involve analysing movements against budget and previous forecasts, identifying the key drivers of performance and translating financial data into clear and actionable insight. You will maintain and develop the group’s five-year plan, work closely with divisional finance teams and contribute to the ongoing improvement of forecasting processes and accuracy.

The role will also involve providing ad hoc analysis to the CFO, supporting external financial reporting, and working alongside Group Reporting and Internal Audit to maintain a robust control environment. A key feature of the position will be the opportunity to improve how financial information is analysed and presented.

Skills

The ideal candidate for this Senior FP&A Analyst role will be a graduate qualified accountant with approximately two to four years’ post-qualified experience and a strong interest in FP&A and commercial finance. You will have excellent Excel and financial modelling skills, strong analytical capability and the ability to work confidently with detailed financial information. Experience of BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be advantageous. You will be commercially minded, highly analytical and able to communicate complex financial movements in a concise and engaging manner.

The role requires someone who is proactive, responsive and comfortable managing a demanding workload and working to tight deadlines without compromising the quality of their output. Above all, you will be a self-starter who is keen to improve processes, challenge existing thinking and develop your career. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to build effective relationships across the group and work confidently with senior stakeholders.
