Our client is a leading international mining group who are looking to appoint a Senior FP&A Analyst into its London finance team.
This is a broad and highly analytical role, offering exposure across both operational and Group FP&A within a complex, international organisation. The successful candidate will support at least one operating mine alongside development and other Group entities, working closely with site finance and operational teams to understand performance and translate operational activity into meaningful financial insight.
Description
At Group level, you will contribute to the preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts and long-range plans, alongside scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and detailed performance reporting. You will also have regular exposure to senior stakeholders through operational review meetings, Executive Management and Board reporting, as well as quarterly external market presentations.

The role offers scope beyond core FP&A, with involvement in finance projects, systems development, AI initiatives and continuous improvement. International travel will be required occasionally, typically around twice a year or on a project basis.
Skills
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience, excellent analytical capability and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Hyperion, Power BI or similar Group reporting systems would be valuable, while experience within natural resources or mining would be advantageous.
