Senior FP&A Analyst
Salary: £52,000 - £62,000
Location: Bristol, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. We welcome applications from candidates across the UK.
Closing date: 30th September 2026
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our team as an FP&A Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial management and business partnering background, with experience that should include several of the following:
- Managing financial management and reporting activities across complex contracts or projects.
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting statutory reports, management information or compliance documentation.
- Interpreting financial regulations, policies and guidance and advising business stakeholders on their application.
- Acting as a key point of contact during audits, inspections or compliance reviews.

- Supporting contract teams with costing, pricing models, financial analysis and risk management activities.
- Delivering financial guidance and training to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting and business performance reporting.
- Providing commercial insight to support business planning and decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
