Senior Financial Strategy Analyst – 3-Month FTC

£80,000 - DOE
Location: London
Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
Start: Immediate start

Are you a commercially minded, technically strong FP&A professional who can hit the ground running?

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Strategy Analyst to join a high-growth, fast-paced business on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role, supporting the business through a demanding period across budgeting, reporting and financial planning. You’ll work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, taking ownership of complex workstreams and delivering high-quality analysis with minimal hand-holding.

If you’re someone who can take a brief, quickly understand what’s needed and get on with delivering it, this could be an excellent opportunity.

The Role

You’ll provide senior-level FP&A support across the budgeting and reporting cycles, helping ensure the Finance function has the insight, analysis and reporting needed to support key business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the monthly reporting cycle, including variance analysis, commentary and preparation of outputs for senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process, producing robust financial models, consolidating inputs and stress-testing assumptions.
  • Extracting, combining and reconciling data across finance and commercial systems.
  • Improving spreadsheets, templates and processes to make financial planning and reporting more efficient and reliable.
  • Preparing Board presentations, KPI packs and management reporting to a high standard of accuracy and presentation.
  • Working closely with the wider Finance team to pick up and unblock work wherever priorities and pressures sit.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data flows and reporting while delivering the immediate requirements of the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
