Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance FP&A, the Senior FP&A Finance Business Partner plays a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning and analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the business. This position is responsible for producing and interpreting management information, providing insight into business performance, and driving accountability through robust reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role works closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making, challenge assumptions, and support the delivery of business objectives.

We are offering a hybrid working contract with most of your time spent working from home. You will be required to attend the office in Ashford, Kent once per week, so you must be comfortable and flexible with travel and commuting for project and team meetings.

The role leads the budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, ensuring accurate financial projections, cash flow management, and working capital forecasting. It is responsible for developing meaningful KPI reporting and leveraging financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and long-term strategic plans. Through strong FP&A expertise, the successful candidate will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that enhance commercial performance.

In addition to planning and analysis responsibilities, the role supports key financial accounting activities, including month-end reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and international reporting requirements. The position also drives continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities, including the ongoing development of Workday and other finance technologies to improve efficiency, data quality, and business insight.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with substantial experience in FP&A, financial accounting, business partnering, and financial modelling within a complex commercial environment. They will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. A proactive and commercially minded approach, together with the ability to challenge constructively, lead through change, and develop strong cross-functional relationships, will be essential for success in this role.
