Role Overview

In a Nutshell…

We are seeking a senior manager to join the FP&A team. The responsibilities of the role will be varied and provide exposure across the FP&A function. The role itself will be focused on leading the future development and day-to-day management of the Group’s forecasting system (Anaplan) and ensuring the integrity of data within the system. During quieter periods the role will also support and oversee the production of data and analysis from the wider FP&A team; over time, this is likely to become a more significant part of the role. The role will report into the Group FP&A Director and has one direct report, responsible for managing service desk tickets and providing first-line support to Anaplan users. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to take full ownership of a recently embedded system, with licence to determine future development requirements, as well as gaining exposure to the demands of working in the Group FP&A function.

The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to grasp complex project accounting and demonstrate an affinity for financial modelling and organising data flows, which together form the basis of the Group’s forecasts. This is a unique opportunity to deliver significant value by developing and enhancing our planning and reporting capabilities. This role will offer high level exposure across the business, requiring you to build great relationships with our operational teams as well developing a deep understanding of the company. Successful candidates will likely be qualified accountants however previous experience of having used Anaplan is not a pre-requisite.

We value in-person collaboration and team culture, but we’re also committed to supporting flexible working where possible. We encourage you to raise any specific requirements during the interview process so we can explore how this could be accommodated.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
