Senior Finance Business Partner

Our client is a fast-growing, tech-led financial services business. Their Finance team is expanding, and they're hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance team, supporting a key division of the bank. You'll work within a team that manages the P&L and Balance Sheet to deliver the financial plan, supporting the business in strategic financial decisions and challenges to improve performance. The role covers the full scope of financial performance and planning — you'll own the end-to-end financials and financial controls for your business area.

Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of the budget
- Building trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- Optimising performance through actionable insight on acquisition performance, customer quality, and profitability
- Delivery of forecast performance, helping them course-correct and anticipate future risks and opportunities
- Leading the preparation of forecasts, and support the team across planning and stress-testing
- Understanding and explaining actual revenue performance to non-financial stakeholders
Personal Profile
- Experience in financial business partnering, ideally having partnered with a commercial or consumer-facing division
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CAANZ Qualified Accountant
- Strong financial modelling experience (Excel and Anaplan desired)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and issues and recommend actions
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage across functions to develop, prioritise, get buy-in, and deliver outcomes
- Experience in presenting to senior leadership
- Able to support developing new processes and streamlining existing ones
