Senior FP&A Manager

Central London / Hybrid 3 days
Circa £90,000 + bonus + benefits

This Private Equity backed Technology disruptor has proved to be immensely popular across the investor community, experiencing yet another successful year of growth through both organic and acquisitive expansion.

With further exciting expansion plans in place, including additional acquisitions this exciting and fast-paced business is developing at an exhilarating rate.

Building on its significant success, this well-funded and highly entrepreneurial business is now seeking to recruit a dynamic Senior FP&A Manager.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director and leading a small team, the role includes:

  • Analysis and insight generation to convey key messages, insights, risks, and opportunities for the CFO, CEO, and Board.
  • Championing continuous improvement in FP&A processes, planning tools, automation, and data quality.
  • Supporting corporate strategy initiatives such as M&A evaluations, integration modelling, and synergy tracking.
  • Engaging in capital allocation decision support (capex, investments, portfolio analysis).
  • Executing robust financial planning.
  • Providing insight and commentary on possible risks and opportunities.
  • Delivering data analytics.
  • Deck and dashboard creation for Exec level consumption.
  • Build and maintain financial models (i.e. 3-statement, DCF, IRR, NPV etc).
  • Business case and decision support for key initiatives and sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.
  • Providing insight, analysis, and recommendations in relation to growth assessment and improvement, financial sustainability, and investment cases.
  • Ownership of KPIs, assuring the data quality and pertinence of metrics used, and using a combination of financial and non-financial data to provide quality insight that can be acted upon.
  • Lead on the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analysis and reporting for Investors.
  • Coaching and developing the small FP&A team, ensuring clarity of purpose, development plans are in place, and a collaborative and supportive team environment is sustained.

The successful candidate will be a highly credible finance professional with an impressive background of driving the FP&A agenda and developing a commercially oriented FP&A environment.

With impressive levels of gravitas, drive, and intellectual horsepower, you will have demonstrable experience in influencing senior commercial stakeholders, having confidently engaged in and led business-critical discussions.

Ideally, though not essential, you will have had exposure to working within a PE backed business and/or the Infrastructure sector.

Personality and behaviours are a key element for the successful candidate. Business acumen, first-class communication skills, an innately curious mindset, and a confidence in your own ability are prerequisites to succeed within this exciting and ambitious business.
