Senior FP&A Manager - Entertainment & Sports

We are partnering with a leading international business within the Entertainment & Sports industry to recruit a commercially focused Senior FP&A Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in driving business performance, influencing strategic decision-making, and supporting continued international growth.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will own the financial planning cycle, deliver meaningful commercial insights, and provide high-quality financial analysis across a dynamic and fast-paced business.
The Role
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Own the full FP&A cycle including annual budgets, semi-annual reforecasts, long-range plans, and monthly management reporting
- Produce management reporting packs for executive leadership including P&L analysis, bridges, new business pipeline, and KPI tracking
- Drive variance analysis against budget / reforecast and prior year, with clear narrative for senior stakeholders
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting into group finance and executive leadership, including the management of dashboards
- Improve forecast reliability through better processes, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven modelling
Commercial and Strategic Partnering
- Serve as primary finance business partner to CAA International business leaders, providing insight and strategic support
- Partner with senior leadership and commercial teams on new deal pipeline progress and client-level profitability analysis
- Serve as the CAA International lead for compensation expense data and analytics, providing critical metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership and business partners
- Support M&A evaluation and post-acquisition performance management where required

- Commercially-minded with the ability to connect financial analysis to business strategy
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail; rigorous in modelling and reporting accuracy
- Strong written communication skills - able to produce clear, well-structured memos, reports, and briefing documents for senior audiences
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative with a track record of building trusted relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and analytical tools (including via platforms such as Power BI, Workday, SAP, and Adaptive)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, business analytics, or related finance functions
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse complex data across multiple systems and organisational structures
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage commercially-sensitive and highly-confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
