As an FPGA Engineer, you will work within a multi-skilled team, using the OpenCPI framework to build, test, and optimize software-defined radio systems and RF applications. You’ll work closely with peers, Delivery Managers, and Technical Leads to ensure that the customer mission requirements are achieved in efficient and innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities

• Component and Worker Development – Undertake the development and integration of DSP and SDR functions in VHDL which will be incorporated into a wider OpenCPI application.
• System Design & Integration – Operate within a cross-functional team designing and integrating RF communication systems, ensuring seamless operation within complex mission environments.
• Test & Measurement – Engage in test-driven development strategies and consider testing throughout the development lifecycle of an application, implementing test harnesses and simulations for effective system verification and validation.
• Software Optimization – Optimize the performance of OpenCPI-based systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability on an exciting variety of hardware platforms.
• Innovation – Embrace the use of the latest AI/ML tooling and hybrid cloud compute environments to deliver results that continually outpace and challenge the status quo.
