Senior FPGA Engineer

Location: Southampton / Flexible Hybrid Working

Salary: Circa £65K - £85K+ Excellent Benefits

Senior FPGA Engineer required by a well-established, specialist wireless communications technology company!

This is a key role developing advanced FPGA solutions for complex wireless communications systems, working across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through to implementation, integration, and test.

Essential:

  • Strong FPGA design and development experience
  • VHDL experience
  • Digital signal processing (DSP) experience
  • Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for communications systems
  • Strong digital hardware design skills
  • Experience with FPGA simulation, verification, and testing
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

Nice-to-have:

  • Wireless communications experience
  • Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience
  • Experience implementing communications algorithms on FPGA
  • Knowledge of RF/wireless communication systems
  • Experience taking FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle
