Senior FPGA Validation Engineer – High-Speed Digital Systems - 4 Days onsite

We’re looking for an experienced DDR / FPGA Validation Engineer to join a highly innovative engineering team working on advanced satellite communications and high-speed digital systems. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with strong expertise in DDR validation, FPGA development, system bring-up and signal integrity to work on complex, next-generation technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate DDR3/DDR4 interfaces, including timing, voltage, frequency and temperature margins
  • Develop comprehensive DDR validation plans and perform eye analysis and BER measurements
  • Debug memory training, calibration and initialization issues
  • Develop and bring up FPGA-based prototypes
  • Perform board bring-up, system integration and hardware/software co-validation
  • Validate high-speed interfaces including DDR, PCIe and USB
  • Conduct signal integrity / power integrity analysis, including jitter, crosstalk, reflections and eye diagrams
  • Develop automated validation and regression tools using Python and C/C++
  • Support stress, reliability and production-readiness testing
  • Work closely with RTL, memory controller, PHY, firmware, PCB and software teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
