Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join a high-profile customer complaints and remediation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation.
You will take ownership of the front-end delivery of a new customer-facing web portal, built from an approved design and BRD. The portal will enable customers to securely access complaint outcomes, authenticate using reference numbers and OTP, review offers, accept or decline outcomes, and, in future phases, provide and verify bank account details for redress payments.
Working closely with cloud engineers, back-end developers, architects and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for building a secure, scalable and intuitive customer experience, integrating with authentication services and back-end APIs.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a greenfield solution that will be used by thousands of customers as part of a major regulatory remediation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain customer-facing web applications using Angular or React and TypeScript.
- Build responsive, secure and user-friendly interfaces based on existing designs and business requirements.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs, authentication services and workflow platforms.
- Implement customer authentication journeys including OTP and multi-factor authentication.
- Support secure handling and processing of customer data, PII and bank account information.
- Collaborate with business, UX, product and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and release activities.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
